The Bamboo Trucker Cap

Every curved cap brim you have ever worn hides a sheet of LDPE plastic. The classic trucker doubles down: polyester foam front, nylon mesh, and a plastic snapback that outlives you by 400 years. That is the exact hidden plastic we ban.
Our brim is a thin natural bamboo board core wrapped in firm bamboo Lyocell canvas — it holds its curve, keeps its structure, and biodegrades with the rest of the cap. Adjustment comes from a self-fabric strap with a laser-engraved bamboo slider. Infinite fit, zero plastic, nothing to snap off.

From forest to finish.
Four steps, zero plastic — how a bamboo stalk becomes the cap on your head.
The Fiber
Bamboo, regenerated into Lyocell in a closed-loop system that recovers over 99% of its solvent. No petroleum, no plastic hiding in the blend — what sits on your head came out of the ground, rain-fed and pesticide-free.
The Yarn
Long, smooth Lyocell filament, spun two ways: dense and firm for the canvas front, open and airy for the mesh back. It wicks sweat faster than cotton and stays soft wash after wash — with no elastane and no plastic core.
The Fabric
A firm double-layer bamboo canvas gives the front its stand — no polyester foam laminate, ever. The back is an open-knit bamboo mesh that breathes like a trucker should. Every bit of structure is engineered by weave and density, never plastic.
The Finish
Nothing. Every fibre ships greige, in its natural Raw Oatmeal tone — no dye, no bleach, no optical brighteners. We skip the dirtiest, thirstiest step in textiles entirely, and the colour bamboo already is becomes the colour you wear.
See it move.

One size. Truly adjustable.
Self-fabric strap and bamboo slider — infinite adjustment, not five plastic snap positions.

Every cap ships with a key tag cut from the very bamboo wood we use for the slider — laser-engraved to order with your first name, hung on a twisted bamboo-fibre cord. No metal ring, no plastic, nothing to landfill.
It is engraved in the same Vietnamese workshop that engraves the slider, packed into your parcel at the factory. Type the name in the order box — that's it.
One cap. One plant. Zero plastic.
Bamboo — fast-growing, rain-fed, grown without pesticides — broken down into Lyocell in a closed loop that recovers over 99% of its solvent. Knitted, woven, sewn — and packed — in Vietnam, in bamboo packaging made there too.
The trucker cap is the most petrochemical garment in most wardrobes — foam, nylon mesh, plastic snapback, plastic brim sheet. We engineered every one of them out, and rebuilt each part in plants. That is the product's single strongest green story.
One origin also means one shipment. Garment and packaging never cross an ocean to meet each other — fewer freight legs, lower freight cost, and faster delivery, with the emissions savings to match.
The result is a cap that is ~97–98% bamboo by weight, sewn with biodegradable Lyocell thread — and when you are finally done with it, decades from now, it goes back to the earth.
Structure without foam — or plastic.
Foam is plastic. Snapbacks are plastic. Shape is engineered instead.
The Fibre
Bamboo, spun into Lyocell in a closed loop. Rain-fed, regenerative, grown without pesticides — lower water and chemistry than cotton, organic included.
The Canvas
Firm, double-layer bamboo Lyocell canvas gives the front panel its stand — where every other trucker uses a polyester foam laminate. Zero foam, zero fusible.
The Brim
A thin natural bamboo board core wrapped in bamboo canvas — firm, curved, and biodegradable. Every other curved brim on Earth hides a sheet of LDPE plastic.
The Greige
Dyeing is the dirtiest, thirstiest step in textiles — so we skip it entirely. No dye effluent, no bleach, no brighteners. Raw Oatmeal is the colour bamboo already is.
The Slider
A laser-engraved bamboo slider on a self-fabric strap — infinite adjustment in place of the five plastic snap positions of a snapback. Nothing to crack, nothing to landfill.
The Parcel
Bamboo packaging, made in Vietnam and packed at the factory. No poly bag, no plastic tape — and one origin means fewer freight legs, lower cost and faster delivery. Your engraved key tag rides inside.
FAQ
Is it really 100% plastic-free?
Yes. The canvas front, mesh back, sweatband, strap and label are bamboo Lyocell; the brim core is natural bamboo board; the slider is bamboo wood; the sewing thread is wood-pulp Lyocell. There is no polyester, nylon, foam, snapback or plastic sheet anywhere — and no bio-based plastic either. Plants only.
What is inside the brim?
A thin natural bamboo board, wrapped in firm bamboo Lyocell canvas. Every other curved cap brim hides a sheet of LDPE plastic — ours holds its curve by material and construction, and biodegrades with the rest of the cap.
How does it adjust without a snapback?
A self-fabric strap runs through a laser-engraved bamboo slider — infinite adjustment from roughly 54 to 62 cm, instead of five plastic snap positions. Nothing to crack, nothing to snap off.
Why is it undyed — can I get other colours?
Undyed is the point. Dyeing and finishing is the most polluting, water-hungry step in textiles, so we skip it entirely. Every fibre ships greige in its natural Raw Oatmeal tone. There are no dyed colours, by design.
How does the free key tag work?
Every cap comes with a bamboo key tag, laser-engraved to order with the first name you enter in the order box — cut from the same bamboo wood as the slider, on a bamboo-fibre cord with no metal ring and no plastic. It is engraved in Vietnam and packed into your parcel at the factory. If you leave the name blank, we'll ship it unengraved.
How do I care for it?
Spot clean or cold hand wash the crown; keep the brim out of the machine. Do not bleach or tumble dry — reshape the brim while damp and dry in the shade. Treated this way the greige tone and the brim's curve hold for years.
Why does the tag say 'lyocell' and not 'bamboo'?
US labelling rules require regenerated fibre to be named 'lyocell' on the care tag, even when made from bamboo. The fabric is genuinely bamboo Lyocell — we follow the labelling rule to the letter. And the label itself is bamboo fabric, embroidered in Lyocell — not the polyester tag sewn into almost everything else on Earth.
Does it really biodegrade?
Every component is plant matter — bamboo Lyocell fabric, bamboo board, bamboo slider, Lyocell thread — and breaks down at end of life. Nothing to landfill.
What are the opt-ins?
One: a monogram (+$12) — your initials embroidered on the side panel in the same tonal Lyocell thread. The base cap ships without it — it's the greenest build, and every green claim is anchored to it.
