Every mile, on the record.
Four steps, two countries, zero plastic.
The Cellulose
Lyocell starts with high-purity bamboo cellulose, and today that grade of pulp comes from the bamboo forests of Sichuan — the closest place on Earth that grows and pulps bamboo to the purity lyocell demands. We would rather name the province than sell you a story.
The Fibre
The cellulose is regenerated into bamboo lyocell in a closed-loop process that recovers ~99% of its solvent — not the dirtier open-loop viscose process behind most “bamboo” clothing.
The Garment
Spinning, knitting, cutting, sewing, embroidery and packing all happen in Vietnam. That transformation is why every bmbū piece is — truthfully and legally — Made in Vietnam.
The Parcel
Bamboo packaging, made in Vietnam and packed at the factory. The finished garment ships once — from our door to yours. No importer, no distributor, no shop shelf.

100% Vietnam. That's the direction.
The brand is named for a direction — Go for 100% — and that includes geography. Vietnam grows bamboo everywhere, but growing bamboo and growing textile-grade cellulose are different crafts: fibre-grade pulp needs specific species, cultivation and pulping infrastructure that Vietnam's industry hasn't built yet. Sichuan spent decades building exactly that. Until Vietnam catches up, pretending otherwise would be a lie — so we won't.
Here is the plan: every bmbū order builds the demand that gives Vietnamese growers a reason to cultivate cellulose-grade bamboo, and Vietnamese industry a reason to pulp it. And because bamboo reaches harvest maturity in just a few years — not the decades trees need — this is a gap that can close fast. The more this brand grows, the sooner the first fully Vietnamese lot ships. When it does, you'll read it here first.
