Technically, a biopolymer is a polymer. We'll say it so you don't have to find out.

“Polymer” is the family plastic belongs to — and a corn-starch biopolymer sits in that family too. The difference is what it's made of and where it ends up: ours is grown from plants instead of refined from crude oil, and it's built to break down instead of outliving your grandchildren in a gyre.

So here is the rule we can keep 100% of the time, stated exactly: your garment contains zero plastic of any kind — and your parcel contains zero oil-based plastic. When a fully bamboo weatherproof layer exists, we'll switch to it and update this page. That's what the mark means: go for 100%.
